Piast Tower
Piast Tower – a symbol of Opole’s thousand-year history
For centuries, it has towered over Opole and remains one of the city’s most recognizable symbols. The Piast Tower is one of the oldest preserved defensive structures in Poland and the only remaining part of the former Piast Castle.
From the top of the tower, visitors can enjoy a beautiful view of Opole, Pasieka Island, and the surrounding historic landmarks. Its distinctive silhouette has also appeared for years in television broadcasts of the National Festival of Polish Song, becoming an inseparable element of the city’s skyline.
If you want to see Opole from a different perspective and stand in the place where the city’s history began over a thousand years ago, the Piast Tower is a must-see attraction.
